Who I Am
My name is Erica, deemed "Erica Vinyl" by a friend a few years ago for obvious reasons! I've been collecting vinyl records since I was 11 years old. At that point in the vinyl resurgence timeline, vinyl was not cool to collect. I naturally, it was a big pin point in my bullying growing up. It never stopped me from my pursuing my love for collecting and continuing to build my collection over the years! I managed a local record shop for two and a half years before parting ways; a year later, deciding to pursue starting my own record store!
While my collection is larger than I care to admit, I have quite a few personal main focuses I collect! I have all of Shinedown's pressings, Michael Jackson, Fleetwood Mac, Eminem, etc. I actively seek "Disneyland Records" too, I am a shameless Disney adult! Just not an EXTREME one. But my holy grails include my late MJ albums, my limited edition Sound of Madness, and my recent acquisition of the Great Gatsby soundtrack!
My Mission
I've been hosting pop up shops around the Central Florida/Kissimmee area since late 2023 and ever since then, it has been my goal to open a record store in this area. While there are several shops in downtown Orlando, Winter Park, etc., Kissimmee/Davenport is lacking one and I know that I am the one who needs to bring one to the area! I take pride in offering quality music media at highly competitive prices; making sure to clean and test every used record and grade it to accuracy while also making them affordable. I see it this way, if I can't afford the records, how can I expect anyone else to? I want to open a store that brings a full variety of music in an environment where everyone can feel safe and welcome. Music is a universal language and I want to be able to offer it to everyone!

Obviously, opening a full brick and mortar store take a LOT of funding. We've got a campaign through iFundWomen where you can help us bring our store to Kissimmee, Florida.
